
Shawano Downtown and Shawano Park & Recreation Department present ShawanoFest on Saturday, July 10. This family-friendly event, sponsored by Qualheim’s True Value, takes place in the heart of downtown and Franklin Park.

Begin the day at 8 a.m. with The F.R.E.S.H. Project Shawano Farmer’s Market at Franklin Park; the market will remain open until 1 p.m. in celebration of ShawanoFest. From 9 to 11 a.m. participate in the FRESH Project 5K Fun Run/Walk. Sign up at www.thefreshproject.org.

Two FREE yoga sessions, sponsored by Cornerstone Chiropractic & Wellness, will take place at the Franklin Park amphitheater. Debbie Lonick, Soul Community, will begin at 8 a.m. with "Wake Up Shawano." Join Jamie Gajewski, Crazy Heart Yoga, at 9:30 a.m. for "Hometown Flow.”

The car show will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the 200 block of Main Street. All cars should enter the south end of Main Street (near post office) and proceed north to parking attendant. Parking begins at 9 a.m. with all cars in place by 10 a.m. Trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m. in the following categories: Mayor's Choice, People's Choice, Antique (1949 and older), Classic (1950 – 1980), Muscle (1981 and newer) and Truck. The Fox Valley Food Truck Rally will be onsite from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a special event rally. Food trucks include: Alpha Dogs, Cupcake Celebration, Donte Inferno, Kona Ice Fox Cities North, Osario's Latin Fusion and Smokehound BBQ.

From 1 to 3 p.m. join Hope Community Church at Franklin Park for and obstacle course and chance to win an XBOX!

Wrap up the day’s festivities with the Kids from Wisconsin. They take the stage at Franklin Park at 7 p.m. to present "Live! In Living Color." This performance brought to you by the Shawano Community High School Music Boosters.
