This is Lindsay Johnson, Shawano Downtown Coordinator. Just thought I'd take a few minutes to talk about “how the Sip, Swirl & Stroll works.” Join me to Sip, Swirl & Stroll throughout Shawano Downtown THIS Friday, June 14.
First order of business, this is a ticketed event. I know, that is different than our other events, but in order to plan and ensure samples for everyone, we needed to limit the ticket numbers. You can purchase your ticket at Eventbrite.
I almost forgot to mention, tickets are limited to 300 so purchase your ticket now while they are still available.
When you purchase your ticket through Eventbrite, you will receive an electronic ticket/confirmation via email (bring this with you to check-in).
Now, let’s talk about check-in on June 14: Check-in will run from 3 to 6:00 p.m. in The Naberhood located at 214 S. Main Street, Shawano, WI. Myself and fabulous sidekick, Leah, will be there to greet you (we’ll be setup near the small stage in The Naberhood with a red tent near Stubborn Brothers Brewery if you need a reference point).
When you arrive, please have your electronic ticket and photo ID with you. Once we verify your ticket and age (you must be 21 years old to participate), you’ll receive a wristband. This wristband will serve as an indicator to businesses that you are part of the event, and you will receive a sample at each stop.
At check in, you’ll receive a list of all participating businesses (and what they are serving) so you can plan your adventure! In addition, we have a special gift for each of you!
Businesses won’t begin serving samples until 4 p.m., however, I encourage you to come early to check-in so you can begin your Sip, Swirl & Stroll adventure promptly at 4 p.m.
If you have some extra time, Travis John Music will be playing in The Naberhood beginning at 3 p.m.
I am thrilled to have 23 Shawano Downtown businesses participating in the second annual Sip, Swirl & Stroll event. Each of these businesses will provide you with a 1 oz. sample of the beverage they are sampling
This event will be a great opportunity to explore all the AMAZING stores in Shawano Downtown. Looking forward to seeing you in Shawano Downtown on Friday, June 14.
Tickets are $30 and must be purchased in advance.
