The Naberhood ribbon cutting takes place at 4 p.m. Join the City of Shawano in this community celebration in The Naberhood (214 S Main Street). Live music by Pat Wiley to follow. Shawano Downtown is teaming up with Safe Haven Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Support Center during the Ladies' Day event. Safe Haven will host their yoga fundraiser “Vinyasa Against Violence” event at Stubborn Brothers Brewery at 5:30 p.m. To show support, many of the Shawano Downtown stores will offer specials that support Safe Haven. Our businesses are really going above and beyond to support Safe Haven on April 21 - we are #ShawanoProud!!
Wear TEAL - We are encouraging everyone to wear teal on Ladies' Day in support of Sexual Assault Awareness month. Now here's the fun part - we are going to be out and about surprising shoppers, who are wearing teal, with SHAWANO DOWNTOWN SHOPPING $$$$ throughout the day. You could be one of the lucky winners!
