Cornerstone Chiropractic & Wellness Joins Shawano Downtown

Maybe you called it the Upham & Russell building.

Some referred to it as Montgomery Ward.

While others identified it as the Qualheim building.

Or, were you like me, and called it ‘the empty building on the corner of Division and Main?’ Whatever you previously called it, we can now all agree that 153 S. Main Street is home to Cornerstone Chiropractic & Wellness. Cornerstone Chiropractic & Wellness offers chiropractic care, lactation counseling services and acupuncture. In addition, they offer consultation with a master herbalist and registered dietician. They plan to continue to grow and be a hub for wellness in our community.

Owner, and family chiropractor, Dr. Amy Stuber splits her time between Shawano and Antigo, where she has another Cornerstone Chiropractic & Wellness location. Working full time in the Shawano office is family chiropractor, Dr. Brandon Dyrdahl.

I sat down with Dr. Amy earlier this week. It was chilly day, but with the sun shining through those LARGE front windows you’d never know it. The warmth of the beautiful fireplace helped too! ;)

Shawano Downtown is excited to have them join us, and thankful they chose our downtown. So, I wanted to know, ‘Why Shawano?’ “It’s the community I live it,” said Dr. Amy. “This is such a family-friendly community and there are so many people to serve. I love helping people, and I LOVE this downtown!” If you haven’t had a chance to meet Dr. Amy and Dr. Brandon, and tour their gorgeous building, I encourage you to stop by on Thursday, March 4. Cornerstone Chiropractic & Wellness will be celebrating their grand opening with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. and open house to follow. Open house attendees can sample products, tour the office, receive a chair massage and enter for prizes! Find more information on their Facebook event page. During the open house, be sure to check out the community room. Dr. Amy wanted to include a space where the community could gather; it’s perfect for non-profit groups, local businesses who need a meeting space or church groups. There is a separate, rear entrance to the community room for easy accessibility.

The community room space also allows Cornerstone Chiropractic & Wellness to offer classes. In fact, they had their first class, Welcome to Wellness, earlier this week. Watch their Facebook page for class information as well as upcoming specials.
